This yoga class podcast is dedicated to the memory of Gusta, my Husband’s grandmother who passed away August 13th in her sleep peacefully at the age of 96. She passed just from old age with a life filled with love and beauty. Last year before we were married I met her in Israel. She was pure love. Her life was one that was filled with amazing experiences. I am grateful to have been able to spend time with her and will miss her. We are going to Israel this September for our 1 year anniversary and Gusta was stretching every breath to see me and to have someone actually put you as the meaning behind their breath is an honor. And with this I offer this yoga class to her.

Funny enough I did not know Harry Potter was releasing #7 this weekend.. I guess the energy was embedded as there are so many things we have yet to see in ourselves and the world. While working to produce a NEW!! YOGA PODCAST called, Mudra Moments this week I found new features in wordpress which allowed me to add color to my posts..and what made me laugh is that it was pretty much always there but neither Elsie (congrats elsie for podcast 411 interview) or I saw it.

It is my practice these days to be more playful off my mat… yes, being serious is easy for me and my tendency is to keep it all together and have been watching lately how the universe is always at play eve when I am in thi splace of containment. I offer this class to you for the exploration of the Lila Tandava – “the playful dance of life” is always happening even when you are not aware of it – even at times of challenge.

Yoga can be fun – Boga Yoga does not always have to serious and we can allow this if we choose to… let yourself have fun and play today.

Being true to who you in the world on and off the mat is yoga. Even though we all wear many masks in one day there is always a part of ourself that is constant. See if you can honor yourself connect to this authentic part of you and if you are not being true to your heart forgive yourself and then take action to nurture yourself.

In the third chapter of the Bhagavad Gita there is a conversation about this and its presented as it as its better to fail at your dharma then do someone else’s – trying to become someone else takes more work and is not authentic to your heart. If you are not sure if you are being true to you then allow yourself to become quiet and see in any situation if you are being true to you, just ask and there will be a response.
